Beijing can be described as the heart and soul of China for it has witnessed all the past dynasties in the Chinese history, which made it more attractive and interesting for the tourists. One of the famous tourist spots in Beijing is the Forbidden City which is one of the world's most magnificent palaces. Second is the Tiananmen Square which is the fourth largest city square in the world. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. Next is the Temple of Heaven, which is a complex of religious buildings situated in the Southern Part of Central Beijing. There is also a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens, and palaces in Beijing which is the Summer Palace. However, the Ming Tombs is a collection of imperial mausoleums built by the Chinese Ming dynasty emperors. Lastly is the famous Great Wall of China which is built to protect the Chinese empire or its prototypical states against intrusions by various nomadic groups or military incursions by various warlike peoples or forces.

China has traditional Chinese Festivals which is the Chinese New Year, the Lantern Festival, the Qingming Festival, and the Winter Solstice which is celebrated annually. Other traditional Chinese festivals include Chinese Spring Festival, Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and the Hungry Ghost Festival. They also celebrate Modern Festivals nowadays. Some of it is the Beijing International Beer Festival, Beijing Changdian Temple Fair, Baiyun Temple Fair, and the Longqing Ice & Snow Festival.
